Eden – Bible Stories for Families

IMPORTANT: Please read this End-User License Agreement ("EULA" or "Agreement") carefully before downloading, installing, or using Eden – Bible Stories for Families. By using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Acknowledgement

This End-User License Agreement is a legally binding agreement between you ("End-User," "you," or "your") and Eden Bible Stories ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") — and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application (Eden – Bible Stories for Families) and all content, functionality, and services provided through it.

Apple is not a party to this EULA and has no obligation whatsoever to provide any services with respect to the Licensed Application. By accepting this EULA, you acknowledge that Apple has no responsibility for the Licensed Application or its content. Nothing in this EULA may conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions as of the Effective Date.

If you are a parent or legal guardian accepting this Agreement on behalf of a child, you accept full responsibility for the child's use of the App and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

2. Scope of License

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Licensed Application solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple-branded device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Notwithstanding the above, you may access and use the Licensed Application on multiple Apple-branded devices associated with your Apple ID account. Where eligible, the Licensed Application may be shared with family members through Apple's Family Sharing feature or accessed through volume purchasing, as permitted by Apple's policies.

3. Description of the Licensed Application

Eden – Bible Stories for Families is a mobile application that provides illustrated, narrated Bible stories, daily devotionals, Bible trivia and quizzes, coloring pages, a Pray & Meditate section, offline story downloads, Bible character encyclopedias, real-life value stories, and a Parent Hub — all designed specifically for children and families. The App presents over 100 stories from the Old and New Testaments in a kid-friendly format, with new content added regularly.

4. Free Plan & Premium Subscription

Eden offers a free plan and a Premium subscription with the following terms:

Free Plan

The free plan grants access to: 1 Bible story per day, the Daily Bible verse and reflection, the Bible Heroes encyclopedia, story quizzes and trivia, and 1 coloring page download per week — at no cost, with no credit card required.

Premium Subscription

The Premium subscription grants unlimited access to all 100+ Bible stories, offline story downloads, all coloring pages and assets, the complete Pray & Meditate session library, all Bible trivia, daily devotionals, real-life value stories, Parent Hub articles, and priority access to all new content as it is released.

Prices are displayed at the time of purchase, may vary by region, and are subject to change. All pricing is subject to applicable taxes.

Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You may manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until then. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, unused content, or early cancellation.

Payment & Billing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The Developer does not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details at any time.

Parental Consent for Purchases

To protect children from unauthorized purchases, all subscription purchases within the App require completing a Parent Gate — a simple arithmetic challenge designed to confirm that an adult is initiating the transaction. Parents are responsible for managing App Store purchase settings and parental controls on their devices.

Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App, switch devices, or lose access to your subscription, use the "Restore Purchases" option within the App to recover your active subscription. No personal information beyond your Apple ID is required to restore purchases.

5. Maintenance and Support

The Developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application, as specified in this Agreement or as required under applicable law. You and the Developer acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.

We aim to respond to all support requests within 2–3 business days. The Developer reserves the right to issue updates, patches, and new versions of the Licensed Application at its discretion.

6. Warranty

The Developer warrants that the Licensed Application will substantially perform as described in its documentation under normal use. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty:

Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty are the sole responsibility of the Developer, not Apple.

Except as expressly stated above, the Licensed Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

7. Product Claims

The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and use of it, including but not limited to:

Apple has no responsibility or liability of any kind for any such claims. All product-related claims must be directed to the Developer through the contact information provided in Section 20 of this Agreement.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content within the Licensed Application — including but not limited to text, Bible story adaptations, illustrations, audio narrations, animations, user interface designs, logos, graphics, and underlying software code — is the exclusive property of the Developer or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret law.

The biblical text presented in the App is adapted from public domain Scripture translations and retold in an original, kid-friendly format created by the Developer. These retellings represent original creative works and are protected by copyright.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the App without the Developer's prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by this license.

In the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use thereof infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, the Developer — not Apple — will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

9. Legal Compliance

By using the Licensed Application, you represent and warrant that:

Your use of the Licensed Application must at all times comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, regulations, and ordinances.

10. User Eligibility & Parental Responsibility

The App is designed for children and families. Children under the age of 13 must use the App under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you are either at least 13 years of age, or that you are using the App with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian who has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

All subscription purchases must be made by an adult (18 years of age or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). Parents and guardians are solely responsible for monitoring and supervising their child's use of the App and for all purchases made through their Apple or Google account.

The Bible stories presented in the Licensed Application are age-appropriate adaptations and retellings designed for children. While the Developer strives to remain faithful to the original biblical narratives in spirit and substance, these stories are simplified, illustrated, and presented in language suitable for young readers. They are not intended as a substitute for reading the Bible itself, and should not be treated as a definitive theological or doctrinal statement. The Developer encourages families to read and explore the original Scriptures together alongside the App's content.

13. Privacy & Children's Data

The Developer is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. The App is designed to function without requiring the collection of personal information from child users. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy, available at edenkidsbible.com/privacy-policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. By using the App, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except as expressly stated in the Warranty section above, the Licensed Application is provided "as is" and "as available," without any representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied. The Developer specifically disclaims all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement.

The Developer does not warrant or represent that: (a) the App will meet your requirements; (b) the App will be available at any particular time or location, uninterrupted, or secure; (c) any errors or defects will be corrected; or (d) the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage or system failure, or the cost of substitute services — arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Licensed Application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Developer's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Licensed Application shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) $10.00 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in its entirety.

16. Third-Party Services & Terms of Agreement

The Licensed Application integrates with or relies upon third-party services and platforms, including:

When using the Licensed Application, you must comply with all applicable third-party terms of agreement. In particular: if you access the App using a wireless or mobile data network, the terms of your wireless data service agreement apply and you are responsible for any data charges incurred. The Developer is not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of any third-party services.

17. App Updates, Modifications & Continuity

The Developer may issue updates, patches, new versions, or modifications to the Licensed Application from time to time. Certain updates may be required to continue using the App or to access specific features. The Developer may also update these Terms as necessary; continued use of the App following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement. Premium subscribers receive access to all new content and features as they are released during their active subscription period.

The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Licensed Application (or any part thereof) at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. The Developer shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

18. Termination

This Agreement is effective from the date you first download, install, or use the Licensed Application and continues until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically and without notice from the Developer if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Licensed Application and delete all copies from your devices.

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from your devices. If you have an active Premium subscription, you must cancel it separately through your Apple or Google account settings before uninstalling to avoid future charges. Termination of this Agreement does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees paid.

19. Third-Party Beneficiary

You and the Developer acknowledge and agree that Apple, Inc. and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this End-User License Agreement. Upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Apple will have the right — and will be deemed to have accepted the right — to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. No other third parties shall be third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement.

20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the extent that any lawsuit or court proceeding is permitted under this Agreement, you and the Developer agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States for the purpose of litigating any such dispute.

Before resorting to formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with the Developer informally by contacting us at support@edenkidsbible.com. We will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice.

21. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other provision, and this Agreement shall be construed as if such provision had never been contained herein.

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy available at edenkidsbible.com/privacy-policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Developer with respect to the Licensed Application and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
